Sometimes referred to as “Nandan” and is a main group iron. First recorded in Guanagxi, China in 1958, individual pieces display a rich and attractive bronze patina. Initially this meteorite was classified as an IIICD in 2000, it was then reclassified to its current classification in 2006. This rock was rumored to be remnants of a massive fireball witnessed to have fallen in 1516 which may have showered a large area with fragments. To date, this has not been proven.
